Fahrad was a black dragon that had been in disguise who saved Wrathion when he was still in his egg. He remained loyal to his new prince even when Deathwing returned. He is a quest giver and rogue trainer located in Ravenholdt Manor in the Hillsbrad Foothills.
Background
Fahrad assisted Wrathion and a rogue adventurer in locating and killing the remaining corrupted black dragons throughout the world.[1] Although he never revealed to anyone that he was a dragon—not even his prince—Wrathion knew the truth.
When all the other black dragons were slain, including Deathwing himself, Wrathion turned his attention to Fahrad. He revealed that he knew Fahrad was a black dragon and, unfortunately, suffered the same corruption as the others did. Although Fahrad insisted he was in control, the Old God voices in his head were angered by Wrathion's actions and forced him to try to kill the prince. Wrathion immobilized Fahrad, and the adventurer dealt him the killing blow.[2]

[Fahrad's Reloading Repeater] is a quest reward from [60R] The Perfect Poison.- Fahrad is voiced by David Lodge.
- He is the only Grand master trainer outside Northrend.
- His name is similar to the word "Verrat", German for "betrayal". It also sounds similar to the German word "Fahrrad", meaning bicycle (most likely a coincidence).
