Zanzil's minions, denoted by the Zanzil or Zanzili in their names, are a small group of jungle troll witch doctors and undead minions that follow Zanzil the Outcast. Zanzil and the witch doctors have unscrupulously poisoned creatures of many different races, causing the affected individuals to die and rise from the grave as Zanzil's undead minions. Trolls from several different tribes are only one small part of Zanzil's private undead army.

Besides the jungle trolls, Zanzil's undead army consists of naga, ghouls, zombies, and skeletons. Zanzil also captured and mind-controlled the youngest son of Vol'jin, Yenniku.

The Zanzil trolls had dealings with the Venture Company in Stranglethorn Vale, which acquired their formula to raise the dead through poison. Some of the mixture was stored at the Venture Co. Tower and the formula was eventually acquired by the Defias Brotherhood, particularly Klaven Mortwake.

Following the death of Zanzil in Zul'Gurub at the time of the Cataclysm, it is unknown what became of the group.
