This article contains information from the Warcraft RPG which is considered non-canon.

According to some RPG books, worgen speak their own language also called "Worgen".[1] The language is made up of a variety of growls, barks, and howls.[2]

Notes

  • The worgen player characters cannot speak the language, and there are no in-game sources of the language existing, though for a part of the Cataclysm beta they could speak this language. It consisted of various growls and dog noises before being replaced by Gilnean and ultimately by Common.

Speculation

This article or section includes speculation, observations or opinions possibly supported by lore or by Blizzard officials. It should not be taken as representing official lore.

The worgen language can most likely be considered as removed from the lore, retconned into not having existed, seeing as the first worgen were night elves and the current one are transformed humans.
