The Sunder group, 1st Battalion of the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment (Bolvar's Dragons) is an Alliance secretive tier-one Special Missions Unit. It was recruited into Bolvar's Dragons in the year 25 ADP as the first battalion by then Regent Lord Bolvar Fordragon of Stormwind to combat the growing number of major problems in Azeroth.
Sunder's primary tasks are counter-terrorism, direct action, and national-intervention operations, although it is an extremely versatile group capable of conducting many types of covert missions, including, but not limited to, hostage rescues and raids.
History
First formed on December 13, 24 ADP under the leadership of David "Fin" Finnien, Sunder started out as a free-standing guild of mercenaries for hire with a main base of operations in Elwynn Forest, Westfall, and Duskwood. After a few months, they were fairly prominent in peacekeeping activities and had a reputation as an efficient, well-trained group. Sunder was the first group approached by Bolvar Fordragon for recruitment into the Dragons in 25 ADP. Since the guild was already fully functional and a perfect fit into the designed system, they were allowed to keep their name and became the first battalion of Bolvar's Dragons.
Organization and Structure
Although commands are almost entirely given directly by King Varian Wrynn under the counsel of the rest of the racial leaders, each battalion has its own command structure. The current leader and logistics officer for the group is Damelon, with field commanders Ronan Leahcin and Seda Solono.
