Biography

Early Life

Miles was born several years before the dark portal opened in Goldenmist Village. Miles trained as a Spellbreaker and begins serving the House of Sunfire as a servant. He eventually marries Miku Swiftblood and has two children with her. When Remar Sunfire, the current House of Sunfire Patriarch, severs the House of Sunfire's ties to the House of Goldblood and defects from to the Eye of Azeroth, Miles cuts all ties to the House of Sunfire and joins the Hand of Jarius.

Silverpine Forest

Distrustful of Miles, Jarius Goldblood tells him that he will have to earn his trust and sends him to the Skittering Dark to oversee Hand of Jarius mining operations. Miles witnesses Eye of Azeroth forces headed southeast from North Tide's Run. He sends a scout to follow them and another one to Tranquillien to inform Jarius of his discovery. Reinforcements under Alistair Draco arrive and begin searching for Eye of Azeroth forces. When several scouts go missing, Miles is sent out to find them. Miles forces are ambushed by Eye of Azeroth forces led by Nihil Sunhammer near Valgan's Field. Overwhelmed, Miles pulls his forces back to Ivar Patch. Miles disguises himself as a scarecrow and has his forces bury themselves underground, only to ambush the Eye of Azeroth as they enter Ivar Patch. Miles is wounded by Nihil and the Eye of Azeroth gain the upper hand, only to be pushed back by reinforcements led by Grandard Darksun. Miles recovers just as the Hand of Jarius attacks Fenris Keep. He takes part in the attack and returns to the Skittering Dark to continue overseeing mining operations.

Chasing the Eye of Azeroth

When the Eye of Azeroth attempts to flee south from the Plaguelands, Jarius orders Miles to take any forces at the Skittering Dark to head to Thandol Span, suspecting that they would head in that direction. Miles catches up with the Eye of Azeroth and leads Hand of Jarius forces in attacking them. After Jarius arrives with reinforcements, the Eye of Azeroth flees, and Jarius and Miles give chase. The Hand of Jarius finally catches up to the Eye of Azeroth outside the Dark Portal. In the battle that follows, the Eye of Azeroth is routed. Following the battle, Miles asks Jarius to train him as a Blood Knight, which he accepts.
