Brooks Pendragon is a mysterious Human who works to protect the flow of time with the Bronze Dragonflight while attempting to uncover his own origins.

Biography

Early Life

Brooks was found abandoned outside of the Caverns of Time. The Bronze Dragonflight decides to take him in, thinking that they could have him help protect the flow of time.

Escape from Durnholde

Brooks first mission is to keep the Infinite Dragonflight from stopping Thrall's Escape from Durnholde Keep. Having abducted Taretha Foxton, Brooks is to set a diversion and free Thrall himself. After arriving in Old Hillsbrad Foothills, he heads to Southshore in order to find any clues to his origin. Unable to find any, he heads out to Durnholde Keep. Brooks hops the fence and heads to where the Orcs are housed, carefully avoiding any patrols. After setting explosives on their quarters, Brooks hides and detonates the explosives. Several guards rush to try and put out the fire, and Brooks uses the distraction to head for the keep. Unfortunately, Lieutenant Drake is waiting in front of the keep for him. With little choice, Brooks duels and slays Lieutenant Drake. After entering the keep, Brooks heads for the basement, to free Thrall. With the guards still distracted, Brooks and Thrall sneak out of Durnholde Keep. They run when they see Captain Skarloc and two guard running them but are unable to escape from them. Brooks and Thrall are forced slay them and then continue on toward Tarren Mill. After finding Taretha Foxton, the Epoch Hunter shows up and ambushes them along with other members of the Infinite Dragonflight. While the Epoch Hunter flies overhead, Brooks and Thrall fight off the remaining Infinite Dragonflight members. After Brooks and Thrall finish off them off, the Epoch Hunter lands and attacks them. Brooks severely wounds the Epoch Hunter, who attempts to flee. However, Erozion shows up and finishes him off. Erozion then erases the memory of Thrall and Taretha Foxton and he leaves with Brooks.

Opening the Dark Portal

Brooks is next sent to defend the last Guardian Medivh, while he opens the Dark Portal to Draenor. After cutting his way through the local wildlife, Brooks reaches Medivh. Medivh, sensing the Infinite Dragonflight approaching, asks Brooks to protect him while he opens the Dark Portal. Brooks assures Medivh that he is in good hands. Medivh summons a shield and begins opening the Dark Portal. The Infinite Dragonflight attacks in waves but Brooks, aided by Sa'at, is able to deal with them. Suddenly, Chrono Lord Deja appears and attacks. Brooks makes short work of him and the Infinite Dragonflight sends more waves. After dealing with them, Temporus appears. Temporus attempts to shoot down Sa'at. The distraction allows Brooks to shoot down Temporus instead. More waves attack and Brooks deals with them. Finally, Aeonus shows up. Brooks and Sa'at take to the sky to fight Aeonus. Aeonus shoots Sa'at down. Bronze wings suddenly appear out of Brooks's back, which prevents his fall. Frozen in shock, Aeonus is unable to prevent Brooks from cutting him down. Moments later, Medivh successfully opens the Dark Portal. He gives Brooks a strange helm and then leaves. Brooks and Sa'at leave after that.

Battle for Mount Hyjal

Brooks is sent to Mount Hyjal around the time of the The Battle of Mount Hyjal. He was ordered to search for any presence of the Infinite Dragonflight. While searching through the area near the Alliance base, Brooks notices a Draenei Hunter in a tree attempting to shoot Jaina Proudmoore. Brooks leaps into the tree and attacks the Draenei before he can fire. The Draenei turns into an Infinite Drakonid and kicks Brooks out of the tree. As Demons and Undead attack the Alliance base, Brooks fights the Infinite Drakonid. When the Demons and Undead overrun the Alliance base, the Infinite Drakonid turns back into a Draenei Hunter and once again attempts to shoot Jaina Proudmoore while she is distracted teleporting her remaining forces to the Horde base. Brooks shoots the Infinite Drakonid in the head while he is distracted. Brooks heads to the Horde base while keeping a lookout for the Infinite Dragonflight. Spotting a suspicious Orc, Brooks confronts him. The Orc turns out to be an Infinite Drakonid. Disposing of him quickly, Brooks looks on while the forces of Archimonde storm the Horde base. Sensing members of the Infinite Dragonflight somewhere one Mount Hyjal, Brooks heads off to look for them.
