The Rebel Camp is a Alliance situated in the northernmost part of Northern Stranglethorn Vale, just west of the road leading south from Duskwood and northwest of Kurzen's Compound. Its inhabitants are former followers of Colonel Kurzen, who managed to escape the madness that befell upon the Stormwidian expedition sent in the region.

History

World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft This section concerns content related to the original World of Warcraft.

In Year 25 ADP, after Colonel Kurzen and his expedition fell to Mai'Zoth's curse,[1] a small group led by Lieutenant Doren rebelled and managed to escape. They fled from Kurzen's Compound and traveled to the west, where they eventually founded the Rebel Camp and their operations to defeat the cursed expedition.[2] The camp received their regular supplies from Krazek of Booty Bay, such as land mines to defend themselves from the colonel and his men.[3]

Cataclysm

Cataclysm This section concerns content related to Cataclysm.

Following the Cataclysm in 28 ADP, at the request of King Varian Wrynn, Alliance adventurers met with Lieutenant Doren at the camp, in order find what became of Colonel Kurzen years after his treachery against Stormwind.[4] Upon learning that three prisoners were not affected by the curse, unlike most of Kurzen's Expedition, Doren tasked the heroes to save them. After being freed from captivity, Berrin Burnquill, Emerine Junis, and Osborn Obnoticus moved to the camp.[5]

During the war against the Zandalari, the camp was attacked by Bloodlord Mandokir and the Gurubashi trolls, until the Alliance heroes arrived to repel the invaders.[6]

Mists of Pandaria

Mists of Pandaria This section concerns content related to Mists of Pandaria.

At the time of the Invasion of Pandaria in 30 ADP, Doren left the camp and was promoted captain,[7] since then, it is unclear who leads it after his death in the Jade Forest.
