Bambala is a Horde encampment just outside Zul'Gurub. It was founded after the Zandalari tribe departed from Yojamba Isle. Notably, it is the first Darkspear village in Stranglethorn Vale since the tribe departed in exile to the Darkspear Islands.
During the war against the Zandalari, the place was attacked by Jungle Serpents.

Notes and trivia
- Bambala actually uses all of the objects from Yojamba. At one point, this included several crates that were, formerly, floating in the water, causing them to float in midair. This was fixed later on to remove these crates.
- In real life, Bambala is a small town in southern Mali.
