Consuming Shadows is life-drain area of effect damage spell, the basic attack of, and one of the four abilities available to the Voidwalker warlock minion. This ability is learned automatically at level 10.

Notes

This ability hits all targets within melee range of the Voidwalker. With a very low energy cost and [Threatening Presence] active, the Voidwalker is able to indefinitely hold threat on large groups of targets so long as it survives.

Patch changes

• Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Added. Replaces [Torment] as the Voidwalker's Basic Attack.
  
• Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Duration reduced to 6 seconds, and effect increased 66%. Now also greatly increases all nearby allies' stealth detection while channeled.
