The Underlight Mines are a small cluster of mines in the Ghostlands,[29, 48] located just west of Bleeding Ziggurat and north of the road between Tranquillien and Windrunner Village and Windrunner Spire. The mines are home to an ore known as 
[Underlight Ore], which can be mined there or found in the pockets of the local gnolls,[1] the Blackpaw clan, who have overrun the mines.[2] Deathstalker Maltendis would like to see them removed.[2] The blood elves have an interest in the area, as Underlight Ore may well be useful in the battle with the Scourge.[1]
