The Blackpaw clan[1] is a clan of undead gnolls found in the Ghostlands at the Underlight Mines.
History
The Blackpaw clan gnolls had overrun the Underlight Mines to the southwest of Tranquillien in the Ghostlands, driving out the miners and threatening the flow of ore needed for the Forsaken's campaign. Deathstalker Maltendis in Tranquillien tasked adventurers with eliminating the gnoll presence.[1]
Furthermore, adventurers were asked by Apprentice Shatharia to collect Underlight Ore from the tin and copper veins or from the gnolls themselves. The adventurers then delivered the ore directly to Magister Quallestis at the Sanctum of the Sun, who needed the ore to uncover some special property that would help in the fight against the Scourge.[2]
