Suncrown Village is a ruined high elven village, located in the northeastern area of the Ghostlands. Every year, the village's denizens would take part in a ritual to keep the different aspects of nature under their control; their dominion over the element of water was symbolized by the summoning and enslavement of an elemental named Aquantion, who eventually subverted the elves' spellcasting and slew them, enslaving their spirits beneath the water.[1] The elven residents are drowned and haunt at the nearby lake. It is now home to a group of crypt fiends led by Anok'suten.
During the burning of Quel'Thalas, one fire was near the village. Sylvanas ordered for citizens to be evacuated.[2]
