The Warflame Crusade

A Burning heart of war

I have a ambitious idea: Document every war or conflict that have happened in this fictitious universe at the maximum possible. For it I need some help to create, and for this I'm launching here all the wars that I have already noted since the shaping of the universe.

From oblivion to ruins: Documenting the wars

01 - Wars manipulated by the Nathrezim - First known conflict in all warcraft universe according the lore (see in  [Sargeras and the Betrayal])
02 - Conflict to the defense of the primitive universe - Sargeras led his titanic armies to quickly defeat the defiler demons (Approx. 146.980 BDP), but fall to their corruption and start the next conflict...
03 - The Project-of-Burning Crusade - From 146.980 BDP to 24.960 BDP may we say that the BC was speculatively uncompleted because of the Lack of the Eredar race in the Legion. How you must be noted this conflict is speculative because it's unknown if the Legion and its BC was consolidated only with the eredar, but I will consider this.
04 - War for the shaping of Azeroth - The classical war "Old Gods' forces VS Titanic Pantheon forces" (Approx. 65.000 BDP).
05 - The Scape of Argus - The battle was indirect, but the conflict would be: Kil'jaeden's and Archimonde's Corrupted Eredar armed with the Legion fel power VS Unformed Army of the Light + Velen eredar followers armed with the power of the Ata'mal crystals.

(The Saga continues... I will back and write more, relatively slowly because all have more to do. Because this I'm asking for mutual assistance. Divulge my campaign, please.) 06 - ....

Comments and opinions

Is this fan fiction, or just a lot of extrapolation, or what? Alright, in a less mean tone, what would these pages contain besides a speculative bare-bones infobox?--SWM2448 02:20, 25 April 2011 (UTC)

This sounds like fan fiction. Not supporting it. --g0urra[T҂C] 10:17, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
A white tauren enters the room.
VETO!
The white tauren return from whence he came.

And why "VETO"? All this conflicts existed and are not fanfic. Including, exists pages decribing it in Portuguese; see here: [1] and go in the sequel "Próxima" that means "next". And Archdruid A'noob, you know probably the classic history in the shaping of Azeroth. I will personally create some of those pages to show that they are in the lore.(Gabrirt (talk) 02:15, 29 April 2011 (UTC))
Gabrirt, it is not personal, but there is is hardly a single proper noun or name in any of these. All that we know is that they happened. Infoboxes such as the {{War}} template allow for more content than there is, because a lot can be filled in with guesswork. I'm normally against several small/insubstantial/unnecessary pages being created at one time.--SWM2448 03:23, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
There's also no evidence that there was a war when the draenei left Argus. In fact, the way Rise of the Horde described it made it sound like the rest of the eredar simply tried to stop them and failed. Calling that a war is like calling our brief excursion into Zul'Gurub to stop the resurrections of Jeklik and Venoxis a war. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 04:09, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
I'm trying to resume my trial to documentate all Wars.Gabrirt (talk · contributions) 22:40, 28 June 2016 (UTC)

Merge Cataclysm and Mists groups

I propose merging the Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria groups. Otherwise we'd link to both the Alliance-Horde war and the War against the Zandalari twice. This way we'd safe a row:

Of course we can also name the new group "After the Sundering", to decrease the width of the column with the group names. (Luxor (talk) 10:45, 22 July 2012 (UTC))

I like the idea to keep the games separated, but you can submit this to a vote if you want

Horde-internal wars

In WoWWiki ([2]) there is written something about "Hordish Civil Wars". Should they be listed here as well?Gabrirt (talk · contributions) 17:38, 23 July 2016 (UTC)

I don't think that's necessary. They are... what exactly? Missions from the RTS games? I believe they are covered in other pages. --Mordecay (talk) 18:14, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
They talk about Orgrim Doomhammer's uprising against Blackhand (first one), Gul'dan's betrayal on the Tomb of Sargeras (second one), internal conflicts of the Horde of Draenor (third one) and (probably) the momentary splinter of the Horde into Darkspear Rebellion and True Horde (fourth one).Gabrirt (talk · contributions) 18:41, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
So you're proposing to create a single page that talks about several different events involving entirely different parties, with entirely different politics, that occurred for entirely different reasons, just because they were all examples of internal conflict within the Horde? You can't even properly call the first three civil wars. The first was just one orc killing the old warchief and taking over (no war, just Mak'gora), the second was a Horde commander going rogue and being killed over it (a single battle against a small faction that had already split), and the third is just bringing in line elements who were no longer part of the Horde anyway. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 19:33, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
I have never said that was going to put everything in just one page. I put the issue in question exactly to learn more about these conflicts. And are you sure that Orgrim Vs. Blackhand was a Mak'gora? As I remember I read once that Blackhand was backstabbed by Orgrim, not challenged and Gul'dan's loyalists were not a small faction (I read in the past that a third of the Old Horde followed Gul'dan and defected with him and Cho'gall to the Tomb of Sargeras).Gabrirt (talk · contributions) 19:52, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
It's a bit complicated, they retconned a lot of stuff about Doomhammer :( Xporc (talk) 00:28, 24 July 2016 (UTC)

This template is becoming too big

This template is getting close to {{Species}} was before I reduced it. We need to split it up into individual "wars" (apparently each WoW expansion is now its own war) and list the conflicts in each war in its own template. --PcjWowpedia admin (TDrop me a line!C207,729 contributions and counting) 02:44, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
