730 items

I see that you are changing some items from 730 to 801. What's this based on? This comment says that one of these items was already dropping in 735. It might be 735 instead of 730, but 801 needs confirmation. --HordeRace bloodelf male.jpg Mordecay (talk) 18:16, 14 March 2024 (UTC)

Interesting, that. I was going off the fact that I was finding zero references for any of the first few I looked at prior to 8.0.1, and in one case (with  [Thick Shellplate Shoulders]) the wayback machine showed it named "Rename Me" on Wowhead prior to BFA. But if we've got a direct reference to one dropping in 7.3.5 I may dig deeper. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 18:18, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
Double-checked the date of the archive version that said "Rename Me," and it was just a few days before patch 7.3.5, so I think I'm going to take that as the version they were added. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 18:23, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
Yeah, found a comment that point to the "rename" name. This and this one, however, are from 730 saying they looted it during that patch. + in 730 already mentions its source. Maybe it's a different case for every item :D --HordeRace bloodelf male.jpg Mordecay (talk) 19:03, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
Oh boy, some more missing items. And ugh, another headache of splitting changes between 7.3.0 and 7.3.5. As if I didn't already have enough of that with the stat updates... -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 19:13, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
On the plus side, I think that it's consistent within each instance that existing items were changed and new items were added within the same patch, so I only need to find a single point of confirmation for each instance to apply it to the rest. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 19:16, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
...And then I immediately find a Deadmines example that runs counter to that assumption, with  [Gold-Flecked Gloves] getting changed in 7.3.0 and a Heroic version added in 7.3.5. This is frustrating. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 19:48, 14 March 2024 (UTC)

For  [Thick Shellplate Shoulders], earlier 7.3.5 builds did not have an item at id 151433 (which if cross referenced with Public client builds, likely PTR builds). Later builds does have it. You can confirm more items in the ItemSearchName table if they were added in 7.3.5 and higher but currently Wago.tools does not have builds before 7.3.5. — SurafbrovWarcraft Wiki administrator T / C 20:45, 14 March 2024 (UTC)

Rpg Class Inspiration

Hey- I see you removed the reference to the rpg class from the hero talent page. " (I don't really feel right linking an RPG class as a lore inspiration.)"

Regardless of this, the rpg has often been used to inspire content in the main canon and the class is very clearly fashioned after the Savagekin. I would suggest reading the reference. Perhaps an addendum as "Possibly inspired by" if that's better?

To me it just feels very tenuous. The only thing they have in common is spending a lot of time in animal form (and the latest update to the description seems to have removed even that bit), but the reasons behind it, the results of it, and most of the other details are fairly different. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 02:13, 26 July 2024 (UTC)

Event

Please stop removing subzones from the event pages. They are present in New Hearthglen and the Ruby Dragonshrine when the zone is inactive. Will you restore the images or should I take them again? Ah, I didn't realize they were in different locations between events. That should definitely be made more clear in the articles than just saying "they appear in both of these locations". Specifically, it was that starting a line with a space puts the entire line in a codebox. Using : at the start of the line instead creates a small indentation. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 10:59, 8 March 2025 (UTC)

Voice Crediting

With Lei Shen, the official WoW Twitter account confirmed that Paul Nakauchi voiced the character on Twiiter. IMDB says the same statement.

Also, I saw the video it was fan asking an actor to do an impression of a character. It’s like asking X actor to do an impression of X character. If there are official sources, please provide them.--TopGT8 (talk) 05:19, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
