Stormcaller Mylra is a Wildhammer dwarf located in the Commons in Ironforge. She is a member of the Earthen Ring and is accompanied by her gryphon, Stormbeak.
History
Cataclysm
She was found in the Commons in Ironforge during the Elemental Unrest, dealing with agitated elementals. She asked adventurers for help and gave them her supplies with sapta and totem. She instructed them to use the object to find and subdue the agitated earth spirits that were threatening the city.[2]
After the Cataclysm, she was later found in Deepholm with Stormbeak. Here, she investigated the disappearance of the World Pillar on the Alliance gunship, Llane's Oath. After discovering the Twilight's Hammer hijacked the vessel,[3] she tasked adventurers with looking for clues in the admiral's cabin,[4] gathering information from dead crewmembers using her spirit totem,[5] eradicating the cultist saboteurs,[6] and capturing the leading ogre, Mor'norokk the Hateful, for questioning. As Mor'norokk was about to drop heroes from the ship, Mylra came to the rescue, hanging the ogre himself from the rope. Afterward, Mylra dangled Mor'norokk above one of the ship's propellers in order to get him to talk.[7] After he divulged what he knew, Mylra revealed he was never in any real danger, as her storm elementals would have protected him from harm. Furious at the prospect that he had betrayed the Twilight Council, Mor'norokk drops himself into the blades, killing himself as he proclaims he'd rather die than face what they would do to him. Mylra then expressed curiosity at his fear.[8] She resolved to go and investigate the Twilight Council, while sending the adventurer back to Maruut Stonebinder.[9]
She would then go on to appear in the Twilight Highlands, where adventurers rescue her from death in the Maw of Madness.
Legion
During the third invasion, Mylra joined her fellow shaman in the fight against the Burning Legion. The shaman arrived at Krasus' Landing to take the adventurer on a ride Stormbeak to the Maelstrom. She stated that the Wildhammer clan was scattered because of the Legion's return. She was present at the Heart of Azeroth during the Earthen Ring's defense of it against Geth'xun. After fighting off infernals, she aided the other shaman in empowering the Maelstrom Pillar.[10] Afterward, she accompanied Thrall and the new Farseer into Deepholm to find the lost Doomhammer. She decided to check in with the earthen at Stonehearth[11] and then regrouped with Thrall in Therazane's Throne but did not have much information.[12] The adventurer came back with the knowledge of the weapon's whereabouts, and Mylra went with them and Thrall into the Crumbling Depths. While Thrall stayed behind, Mylra and the adventurer followed Fel Blood and fought imps and corrupted inhabitants. Entering the chamber with the Doomhammer, they found the demon about to grab the weapon, but it protected itself. Mylra charged and taunted Geth'xun, forcing him to attack her. During the battle against the demon, she nearly lost her life, but she was healed by the Farseer. She and Sharpbeak then returned to the Maelstrom[13] and sent the Farseer to speak with Nobundo about opening the way into the Heart of Azeroth.[14] She assisted the other shaman in summoning Neptulon.[15] Following this, she became one of the first champions of the Earthen Ring[1] and was sent on a mission to rescue Summoner Morn from a demonic attack. She was successful, defeating Riftweaver Daevas.[16][17]
She later returned to Deepholm, accompanying Nobundo as he tried to recruit Therazane to fight the Burning Legion.[18] Mylra and fellow shaman fought the fire elementals in the Firelands and made way for the Farseer to pursue the fire spider Garixxia.
She participated in the Battle for the Exodar, fighting against High General Rakeesh, alongside Duke Hydraxis.
