Narillasanz is an elite rare mob red drake found primarily in the Alterac Mountains, but could sometimes be found along the river in the Hillsbrad Foothills at the northeast end of the zone.

Abilities

•  Flame Breath — Inflicts 10 Fire damage to enemies in a cone in front of the caster.
•  Renew — Heals an ally for 5 damage every 3 sec. for 20 sec.

Strategy

Narillasanz is immune to fire, fear and stun, has over 12,000 hp and hits for 300-400 with a regular attack. This is not a mob which can be taken down solo easily by any player of comparable level, and indeed can give trouble to characters 10 or even 15 levels above if unprepared. Strategies for classes who don't have pets (or who aren't able to keep up healing on said pets) including kiting Narillasanz to Tarren Mill (for Horde). For such a tough mob Narillasanz's drops are nothing special; expect 6-10 silver and a random green item.

Trivia

• At various points during the beta, he used both the model for a full sized red dragon and that of a chromatic drake.
