Koya Windtotem is a tauren located in Toghusuq Village in the Ohn'ahran Plains. Koya grew up without a father. She carries a baby daughter tauren on her and had arrived in the area with her husband, Karuul, who went missing when the Nokhud centaur attacked the tribe. She later learned from Horde adventurer that Karuul had passed away and delivered her his headdress.[1] She and the other tauren who lost their fellow tauren in the attacks and their Shikaar allies had the fallen burned in funeral pyres. While she initially objected to the shared funeral with the centaur, she eventually supported it so as to allow coexistence between the two races for her daughter's sake. During the funeral ceremony, she remembered Karuul's laughter.[2][3] Afterward, she and Nawa received in a Shikaar Ranger who arrived with supplies from Scout Tomul.
Koya, accompanied by Ironhoof and Nawa, was among those who came to the Emerald Gardens to look at the newly bloomed Amirdrassil after Fyrakk's death.[4] She then attended the gathering on the World Tree.[5]
Quotes
- Initial gossip at Toghusuq Village
Many went missing in the last attack, including my husband. He wears a headdress like mine--a gift I made especially for him.
Please, if you find him out there, tell him where we are so he can find his way back to us.
