Nawa is a tauren who came with the Windtotems and her friend, Ironhoof, to the Ohn'ahran Plains. She was among those who were attacked by the Nokhud centaurs. During the fight, she lost her axe and was presumed dead by the adventurer when they found and recovered the axe. When the adventurer showed the axe to Ironhoof, he realized that Nawa had to be alive since her body had not been found. She and other tauren were, in fact, taken prisoner. She was interrogated about the dragons, other centaur, and why they were here. Baine Bloodhoof received help from Scout Tomul of Clan Shikaar, and they found the prisoners at Shikaar Highlands. After freeing the prisoners, Baine questioned Nawa about the whereabouts of Bovan Windtotem, and she said that when Bovan had revealed he was the leader, the Nokhud took him away, but she did not know where. Nawa, Baine, and others then left the Highlands, and she relocated to Toghusuq Village, reuniting with her friends. She also thanked the adventurer for rescuing her and was a bit surprised to see friendly centaur, but promised to get used to it. After the tauren and Shikaar centaur buried their dead, Nawa can be seen with Koya Windtotem speaking to a Shikaar Ranger, who had arrived with a wagon of supplies.

Nawa, accompanied by Ironhoof and Koya, was among those who came to the Emerald Gardens to look at the newly bloomed Amirdrassil after Fyrakk's death. She then attended the gathering on the World Tree.
