Frostfire Regalia is the tier 3 mage set.

Most tier 3 items could be acquired through quests given by Archmage Angela Dosantos, who was found at Light's Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands. Before the quests became active, Echoes of War had to be completed.

The quests required several crafting materials, [Wartorn Cloth Scrap]s (which dropped from Trash Mobs in Naxxramas) as well as a token from a boss in Naxxramas.

The only exception was the [Frostfire Ring], which dropped directly from Kel'Thuzad in Naxxramas.

The set was removed, but it has since been reintroduced and made available from the Black Market Auction House (with the exception of the ring), where the starting bid for each piece is 10,000.

Patch changes

Hotfix (2016-05-18): Tier 3 Frostfire Regalia 2-piece set bonus now reduces the cooldown on Evocation by 6 seconds (down from a 1-minute reduction).
Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): 4-pc bonus changed to increase Intellect.
Previously: Gives your [Mage Armor] a chance when struck by a harmful spell to increase resistance against that school of magic by 5 for 30 sec.
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Now available via the Black Market Auction House.
Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): No longer obtainable.
With Cataclysm, all related quests have been removed thus making the set unobtainable.
Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Removed.*
*As of the launch of Wrath of the Lich King expansion and the move of Naxxramas (Classic) from Eastern Plaguelands to Dragonblight, [Wartorn Cloth Scrap] and boss tokens have been removed from the new (level 80) version of Naxxramas. Quest NPCs related to the aquisition of the item set remained in the Light's Hope Chapel to facilitate players to obtain the set if they have all the required items necessary.
Patch 2.4.0 (2008-03-25): The resistance bonus from this set now works with the Burning Crusade ranks of Mage Armor.
Patch 2.1.0 (2007-05-22): The 4 piece set bonus now works correctly with rank 4 Mage Armor.
