Tier 2 drops mainly in Blackwing Lair. The pants drop from Ragnaros in the Molten Core.

Notes

  • Mages wearing the Netherwind Regalia are not defenseless. Besides arcane shields and enchantments, the regalia quickens the mind of its wearer, making their fearsome spells easier to cast than ever before.[1]
  • Along with the other tier 2 sets, Netherwind Regalia received an updated version, Eternal Netherwind Regalia, as part of WoW's 20th Anniversary event.
