The Drywhiskers are a group of kobolds found in the Arathi Highlands.

History

Wolrd of Warcraft

This section concerns content related to the original World of Warcraft.

They're allied with the mountain giants Fozruk and Thenan, who trapped the earth elemental princess Myzrael deep beneath the Arathi Highlands. They had Iridescent Shards, similar to the Shards of Myzrael, deep within the cave in their Drywhisker Gorge.

Battle for Azeroth

This section concerns content related to Battle for Azeroth.

By the time of the Battle for Stromgarde, the Drywhisker kobolds still remained active in this region. The kobolds attacked the Horde at Drywhisker Mine right outside the Horde's new settlement, Ar'gorok, and the Alliance at Galson's Lode outside Stromgarde Keep.

Among them, Geomancer Flintdagger and Overseer Krix were priority targets. Krix eventually succumbed to his opponents, and the Lil' Donkey that was to be his dinner was saved and found a new home.

The War Within

This section concerns content related to The War Within.

Around the time of the War in Khaz Algar, the Drywhisker allied with ogres and gnolls to once again attack the Alliance and Horde settlements. They raided Go'Shek Farm, claimed High Perch, and they assaulted the gates of Stromgarde Keep. Many of them were defeated by Thrall, Jaina Proudmoore, and adventurers.
