The Gunksnouts are a nest of kobolds that have taken up residence in the Echoing Halls in Highmountain. Lasan Skyhorn wanted them rooted out, as the kobolds' sloppy mining technique could cause a tremendous amount of damage. Considering how high up they were, they could bring a chunk of the mountain down on top of the tauren in no time.
