Awakened Raids

Current awakened raid as shown in the Adventure Guide.

Awakened Raids are increased difficulty of the Dragonflight raids during Dragonflight Season 4, with a selected raid being awakened for a week until the next daily reset. It will be available up to the release of The War Within.

Rotation

The Group Finder with the current awakened raid.

To find out when a raid is awakened during that week, refer to the Calendar for the world event which starts each Tuesday or refer to the icon in the Awakened Raid AG.png Adventure Guide's Dragonflight raids section or the Awakened Raid.png Raid Finder dropdown menu.

Awakened Raids will cycle on a weekly rotation twice, then all raids will be awakened simultaneously:

  1. April 23 – Vault of the Incarnates
  2. April 30 – Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible
  3. May 7 – Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope
  4. May 14 – Vault of the Incarnates
  5. May 21 – Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible
  6. May 28 – Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope
  7. June 4 – All raids

Starting the week of June 4, all raids will be Awakened until the The War Within pre-patch.

Players in an Awakened raid or an Awakened world boss encounter will have the following buff:

Ability racial awakened.png Awakened Raid — You are in a Awakened Raid. Enemies have increased power.

Each raid will correspond to a server buff that increases reputation gain for certain reputations, with June 4 enabling this buff for all reputations.

Additionally, depending on which raid is awakened, the corresponding world bosses will also be awakened.

Progression

Quests and rewards

During this time, most overworld content will now have an additional point of reward in addition to the Last Hurrah quests (that replaced the Aiding the Accord quests). Depending on the type of content and quest will correspond to the type of cache that can be obtain:

The Vault of the Incarnates awakened raid week will provide the N [70W] Last Hurrah: Dragon Isles quest that will reward the  [Cache of Awakened Storms] and the following content will provide a  [Cache of Storms]:

The Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible awakened raid week will provide the N [70W] Last Hurrah: Zaralek Caverns and Time Rifts quest that will reward the  [Cache of Awakened Embers] and the following content will provide a  [Cache of Embers]:

The Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope awakened raid week will provide the N [70W] Last Hurrah: Emerald Dream quest that will reward the  [Cache of Awakened Dreams] and the following content will provide a  [Cache of Dreams]:

When all raids are awakened simultaneously, players can choose between the three quests and do the content for the caches.

With increased difficulty also means increased item level.

The  [Nasz'uro, the Unbound Legacy] and  [Fyr'alath the Dreamrender] can be upgraded with the  [Scale of Awakening], upgrading the ilvl to 502 with an upgrade track for further upgrades with Awakened Crests and [Flightstones].

Raid vendors and upgrades

These raid vendors offer loot tables from their respective raids for 2x  [Antique Bronze Bullion]. The loot unlocks as you defeat the raid bosses in the dungeon, and the item level depends on the highest difficulty the raid boss was defeated on.

  • Iszy (Vault of the Incarnates)
  • Iszinormi (visage form) (Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible)
  • Iszinormi (dragon form) (Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope)

Each gear purchased with a bullion starts at item level 493 and start with an initial 1/12 upgrade track called "Awakened". It can be upgraded 11 more times, each time increasing the ilvl by 3 up to the maximum of 535 ilvl.

In addition to the bullion is the  [Awakened Tempostone] that only drops from the end boss of each raid. Runaagos sells a new tier set for Dragonflight Season 4, costing one tempostone each piece of armor. The item level and upgrade for the tier set depends on the difficulty the stone was obtained from:

Achievements and rewards

To count toward the following achievements, players must do each raid on Normal, Heroic, or Mythic difficulty. Completing the raids on higher difficulties will also give credit for the lower ones. Raid Finder difficulty does not count for any of the achievements.
