A typical scene at Community Feast

“Yes chef!”

— Everybody

Community Feast is an event happening in Iskaara in the Azure Span every 90 minutes. For fifteen minutes, follow the instructions of Big Kinook at the Communal Pot and raise the quality of the soup from poor to legendary by completing such tasks as fishing up fish, tenderizing not-so-tender morsels or rubbery fish heads, buying ingredients from vendors in town, tossing escapees back into the pot, or even jumping into the soup and stirring hard!

At Renown 3 with the Iskaara Tuskarr, complete the quest N [65-68] Community Feasts to unlock the event. Then take part to earn a lot of reputation with the Iskaara Tuskarr. Also, once a week, Pleeqi offers N [60-70W] Community Feast, which awards a  [Supply-Laden Soup Pot] and 500 standing with the tuskarr.

Each time the soup goes up a quality level (from poor to legendary), a boss will come attack the soup. Fend it off for bonus reputation. With a legendary soup, Bisquius will spawn at the end. Defeat the feast beast for an achievement and some high-level loot.

Once the soup's done, eat it to gain an hour-long buff:

Soup Tasting

Taste the soup and tell Big Kinook what it needs.
Big Kinook says: I'm curious what you think, <name>. Sample the soup, and let me know what it needs!

Interact with the soup pot:

The bubbling pot of soup stands before you, its aroma getting better by the minute. Big Kinook has offered you the rare opportunity to taste this soup before it's finished.
You'd better not mess this up.
  • Gossip <Sniff the soup.>
You are nearly lifted off of your feet by the soup's exquisite aroma. Its piscine perfume evelops you, embraces you, makes you whole. This, THIS, is the culmination of everything you've done on the Dragon Isles.
You would like nothing more than to smell this soup again.
  • Gossip <Now give the soup a taste.>
Having both tasted and sniffed the soup, you can now confirm that this soup is perfect. There is nothing that can be done to make this soup any better. All of creation has culminated in the creation of this flawless soup.
Still... Big Kinook asked you to test this soup. He must detect something that you don't. Is this a test? A trap?
Your tongue and your nose have failed you. It's time to rely on your other senses.
  • Gossip <Talk to the soup.>
You lower your lips to the pot.
"What do you need?"
But the soup refuses to answer. You hear the odd "pop" of a bubble. The stirring of a ladle. The chirp of a far-off ottuk pup. And then... a voice!
"...salt..."
Of course, you fool! It was salt all along! Whoever that voice was (The soup itself? Echoes of the titans? The rumblings of your hungry stomach? Big Kinook giving you a hint?) was absolutely right.
Gossip <You should report your findings to Big Kinook.>
  • Gossip <Stare deeply into the soup.>
It looks absolutely stunning. It's like a painting of soup, but it's actually soup. Brothy bubbles periodically pop around bobbing bits of fish flesh. Steam rolls off the pot in curls like a tuskarr's whisker. The surface of the soup is glossy and unblemished...
Aha! The surface of the soup should have those tiny little circles of oil on it! Lots of them! Adding some fat to the broth will fix this.
Gossip <You should report your findings to Big Kinook.>
  • Gossip <Take another sniff, this time more carefully.>
Once again, your nostrils fill with the redolent musk of the Great Sea. However, this time, your voyage on the sea of soupy scents encounters some turbulence. What's that you detect? Is it an off-odor? Is something burnt, or spoiled?
Normal sniffing will reveal no more information. Only advanced sniffing will do.
  • Gossip <Sniff with your right nostril.>
It takes a moment, but your right nostril eventually detects something. The soup smells fishy (Of course! It's supposed to smell fishy!)... but not quite fishy enough.
Odd. It's FILLED with chunks of fish...
...but not nearly enough bones! Any chef worth his blubber will tell you that a fish broth's flavor comes from bones, not meat! This soup needs fish bones. Immediately.
Gossip <You should report your findings to Big Kinook.>
  • Gossip <Sniff with your left nostril.>
Your always-reliable left nostril instantly reveals the truth. Nothing is WRONG with this soup, but it's missing a key ingredient: spice.
Adding some pepper - or a suitably peppery fish - will improve this broth more than anything else.
Gossip <You should report your findings to Big Kinook.>
  • Gossip <Taste the soup.>
Instantaneously, your mouth is coated with the richest, fishiest broth you have ever experienced. Flavors you once thought impossible are revealed to you as the unctuous bits of ocean critter sail past your tongue. You dream of the sea, of your childhood, and of Azeroth's future all at once.
Yeah. It's pretty good.
  • Gossip <Take another taste, this time more carefully.>
A second taste reveals that the soup... WHILE AMAZING... has some distinct areas of opportunity.
First, there's something off about the flavor profile. The seasoning is excellent, and there aren't any unpleasant flavors, but there's just... something.
The mouthfeel could also be better. Is it too thick? Too slimy? Too... wiggly? Further investigation is required.
  • Gossip <Take a third taste, this time with your nose pinched.>
The world goes dark around you as you take your third taste. Rich, fishy liquid coats your mouth. It's more viscous than most soups. Maybe it needs some water to thin it out a bit?
No. We need to go THICKER.
The soup currently sits in the uncanny valley of soups - not quite a consomme, but not yet a chowder. Adding some seaweed will stiffen the broth and really bring this soup home.
Gossip <You should report your findings to Big Kinook.>

Speak with Big Kinook:

Did you sample the soup? I'm curious what you think. You certainly were thoughtful down there.
  • Gossip The soup needs more seaweed. (taste, taste, nose pinched)
Lil Ki yells: According to <name>, this soup needs more seaweed! Let's thicken it up!
  • Gossip The broth needs more bones. (sniff, sniff again, right nostril)
Lil Ki yells: <Name> says to put more bones in the soup! Mmm, pointy!
  • Gossip The broth needs more bones. (sniff, sniff again, left nostril)
Lil Ki yells: <Name> wants more pepper in the soup! Ooh, spicy!
  • Gossip The soup needs more salt. (sniff, taste, talk)
Lil Ki yells: "More salt", says <name>! And I agree!
  • Gossip The soup needs more fat. (sniff, taste, stare)
Lil Ki yells: <Name> says add more fat! Jiggle jiggle, hee hee hee!

Finale

Big Kinook yells: That's it! Soup's done! COME AND GET IT!
Interact with the Communal Pot
