Concurrent Assault in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms

The Assault in Uldum[2] was part of N'Zoth's awakening on Kalimdor. The forces of Ramkahen and their allies defended against both the forces of N'Zoth seeking to revive the Black Empire and the newly awakened Amathet tribe that sought to use Reply-Code Omega to end the war at the cost of all organic life on Azeroth.[3]

History

After he was freed from his prison, N'Zoth ordered his forces to assault Uldum, under the command of Black Warden Rhothkozz.[4] Meanwhile, Magni Bronzebeard traveled to the Chamber of Heart and asked MOTHER to scan the titan facilities of Uldir, Uldaman, Ulduar, and Uldum, eventually discovering that the Forge of Origination in was deactivated.[5][6]

Along with an adventurer, Magni traveled to the Halls of Origination to find out why the forge was inactive.[7] When they arrived, they encountered hostile tol'vir of the Amathet. Through force, the two ended inside the forge room. After reactivating the forge, Sun Prophet Tenhamen attacked the two and after being weakened, he revealed himself to be a n'raqi sent to subvert the Amaethet's efforts to re-originate the planet. Although defeated, this was no celebration as the halls were now defenseless.[8]

Magni asked the adventurer to go to Ramkahen and meet up with King Phaoris, asking him for aid in defense of the forge.[9] King Phaoris greeted the adventurer with open arms and eagerly committed his forces to the war alongside the Explorers' League members stationed in Uldum and the reformed Wastewander, forming the Uldum Accord.[10]

Uldum remained a battleground throughout the Black Empire Campaign until N'zoth was vanquished using the power of the reclaimed Forge of Origination.[11]
