The Nazjatar Campaign^[1] is a war of the Alliance and Horde against Queen Azshara taking place in Nazjatar during the Fourth War.

Prelude

During the Fourth War, Queen Azshara had the Tidestone of Golganneth stolen from the Tomb of Sargeras and brought it to Nazjatar. Some time after the Battle of Dazar'alor, Warchief Sylvanas Windrunner instructed Nathanos Blightcaller with a special mission as well as with Xal'atath, Blade of the Black Empire to deliver it to a certain location. As the Alliance fleet was chasing the remains of the Horde fleet sailing from Zandalar into the Great Sea, Azshara used the Tidestone to raise a waterwall around Nazjatar, trapping the two fleets in her own domain. There, they allied with the Waveblade Ankoan and the Unshackled who fought against the tyranny of the naga.
