Altan is the ohuna companion of Tigari Khan. She is almost always seen perched on Tigari's left arm wherever the khan goes in the Ohn'ahran Plains.
After the Nokhud attack on Ridgewater Retreat, Tigari sends Altan to investigate reports of an outsider who aided the Nokhud in the attack. The outsider, Shela the Windbinder, captures Altan with storm magic, until adventurers kill Shela and allow the bird to return to Tigari.[1]
Altan can permanently be seen circling above the battlefield at the Storm Scar. After the Primalists are defeated, she joins Tigari on the Ancient Bough. During the ceremony to renew the pact with the green dragonflight, Tigari offers one of Altan's feathers—a substitute for one of Ohn'ahra's own feathers—as the ceremonial gift representing Clan Ohn'ir.[2]
Altan and her master were also seen at Emerald Gardens, looking at the newly bloomed Amirdrassil.
