Alliance quests

Alliance quests in Stonetalon Mountains come mostly from Stonetalon Peak and from the Alliance NPCs overlooking Windshear Crag. The quests range from level 18 through level 28, so players needing a break from Ashenvale quests may wish to come to this zone.

Horde quests

Most Horde quests in Stonetalon Mountains can be obtained from Sun Rock Retreat or Malaka'jin. In addition, several NPCs in the nearby Honor's Stand in the Barrens provide quests for the mountains. The quests range from level 17 through level 29, making Stonetalon a natural next step from the Barrens.
