Occulus the pure.

Occulus is a rare infinite drake found in Tanaris. He was a devoted member of the bronze dragonflight, guarding the entrance to the Caverns of Time, but has since been corrupted by the infinite dragonflight; exactly how is unclear.

The young drake was discovered roaming the searing Tanaris desert while prophesying about the rise of the infinite and the end of the Keepers of Time. The bronze dragons who dared to approach him noticed his altered appearance and were most disturbed by it.

Abilities

•  Hasten — Melee and movement speed increased by 200% for 10 sec.
•  Mortal Wound — Healing reduced by 10% for 15 sec.
•  Wing Buffet — Inflicts damage to enemies in a cone in front of the caster, knocking them back.

Quotes

Every 10 minutes, Occulus the Corrupted yells one of the following lines.

• Children of Nozdormu, hear me! The folds of time are innumerable, and we are many! You will not, can not, defeat us all!
• We control the ebb and flow of time! The Infinite Dragonflight cannot be defeated!
• My former brethren, your time draws short! Join us, before you are lost to the sands of eternity!
• The sands of time count out the days to your annihilation!

Aggro:

Make your time, mortals. You will never defeat the Occulus!

Death:

Such insolence....such arrogance...

Notes and trivia

• In patch 7.2.5 testing, he assisted Chromie and the adventurer during The Deaths of Chromie scenario. He was later replaced by a Bronze Drake in the live version of the game.
• "Such insolence... such arrogance..." is also part of a line spoken by Ley-Guardian Eregos, the last boss of the Oculus dungeon.
