Mount equipment

Mount equipment slot in the Mounts tab.

Mount equipment disabled while on a mount with its own ability.

Mount equipment offers items that can be equipped in the mount equipment slot and grants a buff to all mounts. Examples include water walking, a slow fall, and the ability to not be dazed. It unlocks at level 10.

Notes

• The effect of the mount equipment doesn't work in battlegrounds or arenas.
• As a result of the implementation of the system, the water strider mounts lost their water-walking ability.
• Aquatic mounts, the  [Sky Golem] and the  [Mechanized Lumber Extractor] are the only mounts where the mount equipment won't take effect.
• Originally, hitting level 100 on one character would unlock the system and once unlocked, it would be available to alts while the equipment pieces themselves required level 20. This was changed with patch 9.0.1, requiring level 10 for each character before they could use the system and equipment.
