Notes
- The effect of the mount equipment doesn't work in battlegrounds or arenas.
- As a result of the implementation of the system, the water strider mounts lost their water-walking ability.
- Aquatic mounts, the [Sky Golem] and the [Mechanized Lumber Extractor] are the only mounts where the mount equipment won't take effect.
- Originally, hitting level 100 on one character would unlock the system and once unlocked, it would be available to alts while the equipment pieces themselves required level 20.[1] This was changed with patch 9.0.1, requiring level 10 for each character before they could use the system and equipment.
Patch changes
- Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Level requirement reduced from 100 to 10 and now unlocks per-character instead of account-wide.
- Patch 8.2.0 (2019-06-25): Added.
