Emperor Salmon have a high chance to be caught from Emperor Salmon Schools, which can be found in Valley of the Four Winds, Vale of Eternal Blossoms, and the inland portions of Krasarang Wilds and Townlong Steppes. They also have a common chance to be caught when fishing in open freshwater in Valley of Four Winds, Krasarang Wilds, and Townlong Steppes with high enough fishing skill. They are an ingredient in certain raid feasts and also in  [Fire Spirit Salmon] which are used to increase reputation with Tina Mudclaw of The Tillers.

They can also be purchased from Nam Ironpaw at Halfhill Market in Valley of the Four Winds; one [Ironpaw Token] purchases a  [Sack of Emperor Salmon] which contains five of them.
