Ironpaw Token

• Represents your credit with the Ironpaw family of cooks. Can be redeemed for Cooking Ingredients and other things at the Stockmaster in Halfhill Market.

Ironpaw Tokens are the Mists of Pandaria currency for cooking, similar to past expansions' Cooking Award. Most cooking quests reward them, and excess ingredients can be traded in for them through the repeatable quest  [10-35] Replenishing the Pantry. They can be used to purchase ingredients and a few cooking accessories and cosmetics, but only two recipes require them unlike in previous expansions. Fifty are required to unlock the extra "Nomi" cooking quest chain with the  [Cooking School Bell].

Ironpaw Tokens are named for the Ironpaw family, whose members conduct most cooking business in Pandaria at Halfhill Market. They may be particularly named for Nam Ironpaw, who does almost all buying and selling of goods using the tokens.

Ironpaw Tokens can be used to purchase the items listed below from Nam Ironpaw. These comprise three mid-level ingredients, many sacks of "base" ingrients that are also gatherable separately, two "banquet" recipes, three semi-cosmetic accessories, a bag, a toy, and a quest-starting item.

Note that the repeatable quest  [10-35] Replenishing the Pantry, also given by Nam Ironpaw, grants tokens for ingredients, so they are a true two-way currency usable for both buying and selling. However, Nam holds a monopoly on most Ironpaw Token transactions and keeps prices locked significantly in his favor.
