Bound Shadehound.

Bound Shadehound is a shadehound ground mount rewarded from [60] Feral Shadehound, which requires completing some hidden objectives and quite a lot of grinding in the Maw.

Walkthrough

Stygia Nexus and a Grapple Point in Calcis

Spike order.

Purchase from Ve'nari the [Stygia Dowser] for 1,500 [Stygia] and, if not already purchased, the [Animated Levitating Chain] (for 1,050 Stygia). The dowser tracks Stygia Nexus nodes on the minimap, and lets players drain nodes for 0-4x [Stygia Dust] and 1-3x [Stygia Sliver] each
Start farming nexus nodes while working on subsequent steps, as players will need 200 of each!
Use the grapple point at ^{[23.1, 68.4]} above the door to the inner Altar of Domination, then bear southeast, run up the steps, and use the second grapple point at ^{[24.0, 75.5]} to get to the upper platform
Use the bonus action button to start a Domination rune pattern-matching puzzle. While standing next to the Grapple Point and looking at the chest, rune #1 is on the spike immediately to the left (of the Grapple Point), and #6 is clockwise to the player's right. Note the pattern of the spike runes (there may be some duplicates), then click on two runes above the chest to swap their positions. Players can make a total of four swaps (or eight clicks) to solve the puzzle and loot the [Crumbling Stele] from the Runed Chest. If they fail the puzzle, they will suffer a two-hour cooldown and summon the Mawsworn Runemaster, whose first attack is to knock players 300 yards back:

Return to Ve'nari and purchase the [Partial Rune Codex] for 2,000 Stygia
Obtain the three pages in any order:
- [Rune Codex Page: Binding] at ^{[24.6, 12.6]} on the back of the Dartanos platform in the Tremaculum
- [Rune Codex Page: Forging] at ^{[51.6, 84.0]} in the back of Death's Howl in southern Beastwarrens
- [Rune Codex Page: Souls] at ^{[27.2, 72.3]} by Thanassos outside the Altar of Domination of Perdition Hold
Use the three pages to create the [Intact Rune Codex], which also translates the [Crumbling Stele]. Note the sequence of runes in the Crumbling Stele, which are the same for everyone:
Obtain both the [Soulforger's Tools] from Soulforger Rhovus at Zovaal's Cauldron and the [Willing Wolf Soul] from a Stray Soul running the length of Gorgoa: River of Souls
Continue farming until obtaining 200 Stygia Dust and 200 Stygia Sliver
Get to ^{[20.0, 66.8]} atop the Altar of Domination (either by using the [Domination's Calling] or by grappling up) and use the Soulsteel Anvil to craft 20x [Stygia Bar] and the [Armored Husk]
Combine the Armored Husk and Willing Wolf Soul at the Binding Altar at ^{[45.2, 48.3]} in Cocyrus to create the [Feral Shadehound], automatically starting [60] Feral Shadehound
Get to an area clear of mobs and in a position unlikely for the shadehound to run off the edge of the zone, then summon the shadehound (it runs forward uncontollably!), and use the runes in the correct order. A good spot is in Ve'nari's Refuge
