Blood orbs are globules of coalesced blood. They come in red and purple colors and are filled with the power of blood magic.

Orcs of the Bleeding Hollow clan in Tanaan Jungle on alternate Draenor used them to empower themselves, and blood trolls in Nazmir on Zandalar use them to spread G'huun's corruption. They also used them in their rituals to drain blood and to corrupt Krag'wa's tadpoles into crawgs.

• Using  [Throbbing Blood Orb] summons a Blood Ritual Orb that transforms the caster into a dire orc.
• Unreleased quest  [110 - 120] Ritualistic Denial included disrupting Blood Rituals.
