Instructor Galford is a mini-boss in Stratholme. Galford used to be known as Archivist Galford a mortal human adept at fire magic until Balnazzar slew the members of the Scarlet Crusade's Crimson Legion within Stratholme and raised them as the Risen, Galford was ultimately transformed as well.

Adventure Guide

Galford once took great pride in caring for the Crusade's most valued documents. However, as he lay dying, he watched in horror as his precious tomes were burnt around him. Balnazzar used this painful memory to imbue his servant with the fiery power that ravaged Galford in life.

  • Spell fire sealoffire.png Fire Nova — Instructor Galford unleashes a Fire nova, inflicting Fire damage to all enemies within 0 yards.
  • Spell fire fireball02.png Pyroblast — Instructor Galford inflicts Fire damage to his current target and additional Fire damage every 3 seconds for 12 sec.
  • Spell nature cyclone.png Burning Winds Magic Effect — Instructor Galford envelopes his current target in burning wind, inflicting Fire damage every second and stunning them for 5 sec.

Original encounter

Archivist Galford was a level 60 elite human found in Stratholme. He guarded two quest objectives: the Archive needed for The Archivist quest, and the painting needed for Of Love and Family. Once Galford was killed, using a book over his desk set the Archive on fire to complete one of the quest's two objectives.

He used to drop  [Tome of Conjure Food] and the  [Devout Gloves] in addition to his current loot.
