WoW's 6th Anniversary is a Feat of Strength achievement earned by logging in during the 6th anniversary of World of Warcraft between 30 November and 14 December 2010. Recipients were mailed the following letter:

WoW's 6th Anniversary!

Wow, another year has gone by for WoW!

We wanted to thank you again for continuing to play World of Warcraft with us. With the return of a certain very large dragon (spoiler alert!), this is going to be a rough year for the world of Azeroth. On the other hand, that means heroes are going to be needed more than ever.

Get out there and defend a shattered world!

Notes

  • Unlike previous anniversaries, which awarded companion pets, there was no reward for this Feat of Strength. Blizzard stated it only plans to give special rewards out for "significant milestones" in the future.[1] In following years, a temporary buff item would be sent, but no more permanent rewards until the tenth anniversary.
  • The window for this achievement did not start until a week later from November 23. It may be related that Cataclysm was released in the middle of this window, on December 7.
