The Wildbend River is a tainted river in the southern part of Darkshore, near the Grove of the Ancients. The river is tainted at its source, which lies in the nearby corrupted Felwood. The taint is carried[citation needed] downstream and is partly responsible for the similar corruption of the landscape, wildlife, and furbolg tribes in Darkshore. Swimming in the river is not recommended.
Wildbend River is a continuation of Bloodvenom River from Felwood as it cascades down the mountains to Darkshore.
Battle for Azeroth
The Wildbend River became the site of a large battle between the Horde and Alliance in the events leading up to the Burning of Teldrassil.
