The Withering Thicket^[42.8, 39] is a small stretch of forest found north of the Ruins of Auberdine in Darkshore. It was broken off from the rest of the mainland during the Cataclysm, and is now an island bordered by rapids to the north, south, and east, and ocean to the west. Moonstalkers are commonly found here.

Keeper Karithus and Seraphine are located here as well.

This section concerns content related to Battle for Azeroth.

Parts of the Withering Thicket were cut down by the Horde after the War of the Thorns. The cleared area was used by them to hold night elven prisoners. Some prisoners were used as target practice.^[1] Ivus the Forest Lord eventually moved here to assist the elven effort at retaking Darkshore.
