The Blackwood Den, sometimes known as Blackwood Hold,^[1]^[2] was located in the far southern area of Darkshore, near the border with Ashenvale. It was comprised of a few corrupted furbolg camps and a small cave. Inside the cave sat a lone night elf named Volcor who awaited rescue. Adventurers had to talk to someone in Auberdine in order to help Volcor get out of his predicament.

It was expanded and fortified following the Cataclysm, and later captured by the Horde during their invasion of Darkshore. By the time of the Battle for Darkshore, they had renamed it Kor'gar.
