The Four Mastersmiths of the dread iron dwarves - Burilion, Tubulon, Great Typhanon, and Jerakon. Between them they command more power than a hurricane.
Dungeon Journal
Four iron dwarves resurrected by Tyr to act as the crafters of his new empire. To ensure they would each work towards his goals without seeking to supplant one-another, he bound their essence together, making the four one. They have toiled ceaselessly to build the engines of Tyr's conquest, and the mighty Dreadforge itself is their masterwork.
The Encounter
Phase One - The Four Mastersmiths
Energy of the Forge
- Forge Energy — This power animates the Four Mastersmiths.
- In phase one, the Four Mastersmiths have 1000 Forge energy, split evenly between them at the beginning of the encounter for 250 energy each.
- When a Mastersmith reaches 0 energy, they become inactive.
- When a single Mastersmith contains all 1000 points of Forge energy, phase two begins.
Shared Abilities
- Release Energy — When reduced to 0 health, a Mastersmith will release a Spark of Energy for every other Mastersmith still living. The sparks will contain all the Forge energy the slain Mastersmith had when it died, split between them. If a spark comes into contact with another Mastersmith, the Mastersmith will absorb all of the energy in the spark. If a spark is killed, it will transfer back to the slain Mastersmith, reviving them to full health.
- Diffusion Chain — The Mastersmith links himself to one of his comrades - whenever he uses certain abilities, energy will be passed from him to his linked ally. Damage done to the caster of the link will break it.
- Restore Ally — A single Mastersmith will attempt to transfer 100 points of his Forge energy to a slain Mastersmith, reviving them. If interrupted, the slain Mastersmith will absorb 50 points from all active Mastersmiths and revive with full health.
- Absorb Energy — The Mastersmith calls upon his allies to grant him energy. Sparks of Energy will travel from his allies to him. If he comes into contact with the sparks, he will absorb 50 energy. If the sparks are destroyed, he absorbs no energy.
- Transfer Energy — The Mastersmith attempts to transfer a large amount of energy to his allies. Sparks of Energy will travel from him to his allies. If they come into contact with the sparks, they will absorb 50 energy from him. If the sparks are destroyed, they absorbs no energy.
- Fury of the Forge — Living Mastersmiths gain a stack of Fury of the Forge for every slain Mastersmith. Increases their damage for every stack.
Burilion
- Heavy Blow — Deals a heavy burst of melee damage to the target and reduces their health by 10% until they are restored to full health. Transfers energy along Diffusion Link.
- Sunder Hammer — Burilion infuses tremendous amounts of energy into his hammer. Lightning arcs from it, dealing periodic nature damage to anyone nearby. The lightning arcs also restrict Burilion's movement, reducing his movement speed. Burilion's next melee strike will instantly kill the target and deal a burst of nature damage to all targets. Transfers 100 energy along Diffusion Link if it expires without killing a target.
- Blaze of Glory — If Burilion dies, he explodes, hitting all targets for a burst of flame damage. Damage is reduced the greater the distance is between the explosion and a target.
Tubulon
- Storm of Iron — A whirlwind attack that deals physical damage to all nearby targets.
- Hurl Storm Hammer — Tubulon throws his hammer at a random target. Hammer deal periodic nature damage to anyone nearby. The hammer will return to Tubulon after a short time. Transfers energy along Diffusion Link.
- Pick Up Hammer — The player can pick up a fallen hammer. Doing so will cause them to spin in place, losing the ability to act, as well as dealing them periodic nature damage. They can use the Hurl Hammer special button to throw the hammer in a straight line. Anything in the path of the hammer takes a burst of physical damage and becomes stunned.
- Berserk — Increases Tubulon's physical damage. This effect ends instantly if Tubulon is struck by Hurl Hammer.
Great Typhanon
- Lightning Bolt — Deals a burst of nature damage at a random target.
- Lightning Step — Typhanon instantly teleports to a random target's location in a bolt of lightning. When he reappears, all players at the location are knocked back and take a burst of nature damage. Transfers energy along Diffusion Link.
- Storm Field — Typhanon generates a field of lightning around himself, dealing periodic nature damage to anyone nearby.
Jerakon
- Molten Orb — Periodically Jerakon casts a Molten Orb, which will launch fireballs at random targets within 20 yards, dealing a burst of flame damage. Orbs persist for a short time.
- Tracking Bomb — Jerakon launches a Tracking Bomb at a random target, which will persue them for a short time and then detonate, knocking anyone they hit into the air and dealing a blast of flame damage. Transfers energy along Diffusion Link.
