Objectives

Spar with Private Cole.

Description

I hope this rain isn't a bad omen... I was counting on this being a simple rescue mission.

You'll be sparring with me. We have to make sure you won't run at the first sign of danger.

Let's see what you've got!

You're exactly what I'd expect from a <class> recruit. I think you'd make a fine part of the main expedition team.

Notes

Accept Cole's quest, and he runs a short distance away:

Private Cole says: Let's move into sparring positions. I'll let you have the first strike.

Attack Cole to start combat with him:

Private Cole says: Never run from your opponent. Stand your ground and fight until the end!

At 50% health, Cole will jump to get behind the player:

Private Cole says: Remember to always face your enmey!

Cole hits very weakly and misses a great deal with his strikes, but should the player manage to lose more than 50% health, Cole will instantly heal the player back to full health.

Defeat Cole and the player will gain a level:

Private Cole says: I yield! Well, I'd say you're more than ready for whatever we find on that island.

Don't forget to drag the new spell to an action bar spot from the spellbook. Turn back in to Cole and pick up his next quest.
