Solethus is a green dragon who flies with Merithra and Gerithus to answer the Horn of Drusahl in the Ohn'ahran Plains after it is blown by Balakar Khan and Koroleth. When the Nokhud try to kill Merithra with a bolt from a dragonkiller ballista, Solethus and Gerithus fly in front of her to absorb the bolt. The bolt hits and impales Solethus, who dies almost instantly and plummets to the Watering Hole.[1][2]
Merithra subsequently carries Solethus' body back to the Shady Sanctuary.[3] He is buried in a cave on the northern cliff wall of the Emerald Gardens, marked by Solethus's Gravestone. Interacting with the stone summons a hostile Shade of Grief.
During the battle with Koroleth's Primalists in the Storm Scar, Khanam Matra Sarest and adventurers help avenge Solethus by destroying the Nokhud's ballistae so that no other dragons will suffer from them as he did.[4]
