Silver

Silver is found in silver veins and can be smelted into silver bars. Mining silver veins requires a Classic mining skill of at least 75. Silver veins will sometimes but rarely spawn instead of a tin vein, so silver is found in the same areas as tin. Silver veins can also produce gems and [Coarse Stone].
Background
Silver is strongly associated with the titan keeper Tyr. After one of his hands was severed by Galakrond, Tyr replaced the lost appendage with a silver hand, forged by his friend Jotun from the contents of a vein of pure silver deep within Azeroth.[1] Tyr later gifted the Dragon Aspects with the Silver Scale, a dragon scale forged of purest silver,[2] and the constructs he created included golems made of silver.[3] Tyr's resurrection and the recreation of the Tyr's Guard has been described as signifying a "new age of silver".[4]
It is possible that silver is effective for slaying monsters.[5] To counter Drust magic, the Order of Embers used weapons of silver.[6] Hadwin, a former member of the order, believes that there may be a connection between the order's silver weaponry and Tyr's silver hand.[7]
