Shadebough is a tree of life located in Bashal'Aran in Darkshore, rallied by Malfurion Stormrage alongside Gnarlroot to support the combined night elf and Alliance efforts in the Battle for Darkshore. When the Alliance controls the area, Celestine of the Harvest can be seen healing Shadebough.
Years later, Shadebough arrived to the Emerald Dream to aid the Dream Wardens against Fyrakk's forces, but was captured by the Primalists and Zaqali djaradin at Skystone Falls. Adventurers sent by Tyrande Whisperwind smashed the Restraining Harpoons that were holding the ancient down. However, soon after, Shadebough was killed by Prophet Ashendir.[1]
