Squashlings[1][2] are carved, walking pumpkins animated through magical means. They are especially associated with Hallow's End; on Azeroth, the Headless Horseman can summon them as his soldiers,[3] while on Draenor they are grown by the Bonefleet.[2] Some pumpkins in the Plaguelands turned into animated squashlings after being infected by the plague of undeath.[4]
