Insanity is the secondary resource for Shadow priests, replacing 
[Shadow Orbs] and (to some extent) 
[Shadowform].
It's shown as a bar between health and mana, generated by certain abilities then spent by casting 
[Void Eruption] to enter 
[Voidform].
