Gilneas City Guards are humans found throughout Gilneas City. They are the law enforcement and protectors of Gilneas City, keeping the peace within the city's walls.
During the Wolf Cult's attack on Gilneas City, the guards could be seen fighting the worgen across the capital. In the Merchant Square, they were under the command of Prince Liam Greymane and protected the Panicked Citizens while they were evacuated by the Gilnean adventurer.[1][2] In the Military District, they were led by King Genn Greymane and Lord Vincent Godfrey, and used the Northgate rebels' Commandeered Cannons to fire at Bloodfang Rippers.[3] Finally, they set up barricades in the Greymane Court to protect the civilians, and later evacuated the capital to take refuge in Duskhaven.[4]
