Engorged with the power of shadowflame and wielding the legendary axe Fyr'alath the Dream Render, Fyrakk now prepares to feast on the energies of Amirdrassil itself.

Overview

In his proto-dragon form.

As the battle for Amirdrassil begins, Fyrakk conjures Firestorms that darken the sky. Each time Fyrakk casts Wildfire, the Raging Flames spread. Upon reaching $421528s1% remaining health, Fyrakk attempts to Corrupt the Heart of Amirdrassil. As Spirits of the Kaldorei emerge to defend the world tree, Fyrakk annihilates his foes with Shadowflame Devastation. Fyrakk unleashes the full power of an Incarnate with Apocalypse Roar as the world tree begins to produce Seeds of Amirdrassil.

A wave of energy passes through the five Dragon Aspects and Vyranoth on their platforms, knocking them all unconscious. The camera tracks around to Alexstrasza and focuses in on her face. She opens her eyes, revealing a golden glow as the scene cuts to black.

Vyranoth says: Alexstrasza, what has happened?
Alexstrasza says: Something... unexpected.

Amirdrassil... I was not there when my mother blessed Nordrassil and bound it to the Dream after the War of the Ancients.

To witness this moment is blessing enough, but to receive the gift of the world--my friend, I cannot thank you enough. This would not have been possible without you.

It felt like I'd had my aspectral powers for only a breath or two before we gave them without reservation to stop Deathwing's destructive onslaught. I scarcely missed them--how could I? I barely knew what they were.

But now, I have the opportunity to learn and grow... thanks to you.

Nozdormu

I remember when we blessed Nordrassil, long ago. It was meant to be protection--to keep anyone from tampering with the new Well of Eternity. This tree... feels different. A haven, not a ward.

I am glad I survived to see it bloom.

I do not celebrate the loss of life... but Fyrakk could not be allowed to continue the legacy of shadowflame's destruction. He was too far gone to save.

Strange, though. When he fell, it was as if... the embers of his rage were carried off by the wind. Perhaps he at last joined the elements that imbued him.

Vyranoth

I wish it had not come to this. My brother... Fyrakk was always impetuous. As chaotic as the flames he embraced.

Our cause was just, mortal. But Fyrakk lost sight of it, and of himself. As for Iridikron... I do not know where he has gone, only that he has shown he cared little for the fate of his brother, or my own.

I do not know what the future holds. But Alexstrasza is willing to listen. It is all that I ask.

I did not expect to see our aspectral powers returned to us in this manner.

Not so long ago, Fandral Staghelm asked us to bless Teldrassil, as we did Nordrassil long ago. It was a selfish request, born not of a desire to protect or serve, but simply to live forever. We refused.

We did not fight to protect Amirdrassil for power. We did as we have always done--fought to protect our world. And the world in turn offered us a means to protect it.
