Drake's Shadowflame Crest is used to upgrade Veteran/Champion Dragonflight Season 2 items from item levels 415–424. For more information, see the

It is still granted as a quest reward from 
[70] Drake's Shadowflame Crest.
Crests could originally be obtained by combining 15x 
[Drake's Shadowflame Crest Fragment] from normal Aberrus raid bosses and the end-of-run chest in a Mythic+ key in the 6–10 range. Additionally, open-world rare elite creatures, weekly quests, and Fyrakk Assaults could also drop fragments. Beyond that, Vaskarn in Loamm can downgrade a 
[Wyrm's Shadowflame Crest] down to a Drake's crest for crafting purposes. Finally, Evantkis in front of the Great Vault of Valdrakken, will trade one 
[Aspects' Token of Merit] per crest.
Patch changes
