Walden Frey was a former resident of the kingdom of Gilneas.
Biography
Northgate Rebellion
A member of House Frey, Walden Frey served in the rank of Lieutenant of the Gilnean Royal Guard. Loyal to the Greymanes like his ancestors, he was involved in the Northgate Rebellion, a civil war that erupted across the kingdom of Gilneas.
Cataclysm
When the Worgen curse started to spread across the kingdom and began turning many of its residents into howling Worgen, Walden was ordered by Prince Liam Greymane to arrange an evacuation for the civilians that were not infected by the worgen curse. However, he was suddenly killed by a worgen during the Invasion of Gilneas.
Shadowlands
At some point after the people of Gilneas evacuated from Gilneas to Teldrassil, Walden's body was found and claimed by the Banshee Queen Sylvanas Windrunner, who used her loyal Val'kyr to raise him as a Forsaken. However, Walden refused to be enslaved by her and fled Gilneas where he found refuge in Dalaran, serving as a loyal member to the Uncrowned.
